Blogs owners excuse for not being around!!!

Sorry I have not been around much, hope to start to be able to get back into motion this week, so look for me to return, have had a rough couple of weeks. May explain some day, for now I won't depress you or me.

I am now taking the Summer Card Camp Class's by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina, and so looking forward to that, will be making my first card tomorrow. A few others have also caught my eye, so lets see how much energy I have this week, plus it is supposed to be quite warm here, so that will be keeping me indoors.

Right now trying to catch up on blog reading and emails!! So many to read, as today was my birthday and I have so many great Birthday wishes!! Have to read them all, they all warm my heart!! My dear husband and I went to a lovely lunch, we were going to the movies, but my back is hurting so bad I could not stand the thought of sitting in those chairs for 2 and a half hours, so maybe over the weekend. Then the family came and we had birthday cake, so all and all it was a very nice day.

Just visited Lily pad cards, whom I have followed since their grand opening and they are having a give a way of some Hero Art Stamps, and I am just doing as requested to be able to participate.

Hero Arts 90 minute Challenge

Well, HA via Fickr group is offering a prize, besides my prize for the 90 minute challeng on March 5, at 2 Pm EST. Lots of fun, and I am giving away two prize groups, to two different randomly drawn winners, and HA is providing a digi kit as a third prize So come join us and create a card and upload it to flickr, all within the 90 minute time frame, and the challenge, what you have to do for the theme is announced right before the start!! Sounds hard, but it is fun and rewarding, to see just what you can do, in that amount of time. I surprised myself the first time. Grant you did not want to see my work area when done :) !!!

Oh well after it is over I will post my cards that I made for examples . Not that anyone comes here, but don't want to put them up till then.

In case someone does stop by, THANKS for coming to my boring blog!!! Some day I will get to it and do it right, but at this time in my life I don't have the time nor the energy to do this everyday.

New Year and New Promises to Myself (Resolutions)

Well it is a new Year and Hopefully a good one for Me and for You All!!

The Good Lord has seen Fit to get me Here so I am going to try and make the Best of it!!

Blogging has not been my thing of the past, but hope to have time to be more creative and there fore post about my creations and have something to BLOG about. Being home most days and being disabled I do not have a very exciting life, and not much to write about, but will try not to bore you to tears!!!

So for my first blogging day of the New Year, my Flickr friends are going over their past years creating on their cards that they have made and uploaded to Flickr. This has been my first year and I did not think I had much, but taking the time to look back over what I have done, there are a lot of cards I am very proud of and I can truly see an improvement of my stuff from the time I started to now. The other folks are picking out their top 10 that they liked from the year, and I thought NO PROBLEM, there will not even be 10, but I surprised myself and had a hard time picking out 10, as there were more than that, that I really liked .!! So here they are in no particular order, First one is above this post. This is a card that I had made for one of my Flickr friends for a card Exchange held by another Fickr friend!! I enter this exchange every month, and the cards come from all over the world!! Love doing it!.

Now I don't know how to add more than one picture to a post where they are not all bunched together, so i am just going to post the one picture now and go do some research and then try and come back and add the rest of my selections.
